What prices do providers publish?

- UMP Shingrix: HK$2,500 for one dose or HK$4,800 for two. Its fee page states that pre-vaccination consultation is included with no additional charges; confirm availability and appointments with the clinic.
- HKBH East Kowloon Medical Centre shingles package: HK$5,200 for two doses, including two pre-injection assessments by a Family Medicine Specialist and injection fees. The page text does not name the brand; confirm it first. The offer is for its General Outpatient Clinic and people aged 50 or above, requires advance booking and cannot be combined with other discounts. If assessed as unsuitable for vaccination, the consultation costs HK$380.

What makes a fair comparison?
Check the brand and vaccine type, total doses, consultation and injection fees at each visit, second-visit arrangements, and refund or non-vaccination charges. A single dose, a different product and a package with different consultations are not equivalent services.
Can flu or pneumococcal subsidies pay for it?
The 2026/27 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme lists seasonal influenza and pneumococcal vaccination. Do not assume its subsidies can be deducted from a shingles package. Confirm any other payment arrangement with the provider; this article does not establish individual funding eligibility.
